MANOR OF HELSTON TRIGG THE CUSTOMARY COURT of his Royal Highness George Augustus Frederick Prince of Wales Regent of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland Duke of Cornwall Lord of the said Manor holden at the Mill Tenement in Camelford within and for the said Manor the 23rd day of June in the year of Our Lord 1819 before Charles Carpenter Esquire Deputy Steward of the said Manor.
AT THIS COURT came Samuel Brown one of the Customary Tenants of the said Manor and did surrender into the hands of His said Royal Highness Lord of the Manor aforesaid by the rod according to the custom of the said Manor “the said close excepted”
Also “a third part” respectively described as per margin with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging parcel of the Customary lands of the said Manor UPON CONDITION THAT William Sloggatt should be able to hold the aforesaid premises to Him his Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the Custom of the said Manor (In trust nevertheless for the said Samuel Brown his Heirs and Assigns ) AND THEREUPON at the same Court of the Manor came the said William Sloggatt and took of His said Royal Highness Lord of the Manor aforesaid the premises aforesaid with the appurtenances TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same (in trust as aforesaid) to Him his Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the Custom of the Manor aforesaid by the ancient Rents and Services therefore due and of Right Accustomed AND so He is admitted Tenant thereof by the pledges of Francis Lobb and George Martyn Customary Tenants of the said Manor And he did fealty and so forth
