Know all Men by these Presents that I Richard Cossentine Tayler of the Parish of Lanteglos by Fowey in the County of Cornwall do stand held and firmly bound to Edward Willcock and William Colliver Churchwardens and Thomas Trubody and John Honney Overseer of the Poor of the said Parish and County aforesaid in the Sum of Twenty? Pounds of good and lawful Money of Great Britain to be paid to the said Churchwardens and Overseers of the Said Parish or to their certain Attorney Executors, Administrators or aligns For which Payment to be well and faithfully made I bind myself my Heirs, Executors and Administrators firmly by these Presents Sealed with my Seal dated this thirtieth? day of January in the Twentyth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and so forth and in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Eighty.
 
The Condition of this Obligation is such That if the above Bounden Richard Cossentine his Heirs Executors or Administrators shall clearly free and Discharge the above sd Parish shall and do well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the above names Churchwardens and Overseers of the said parish or to there Executors Administrators or Assigns the full sum of Twenty Pounds of good and lawful money of Great Britain to free the parish aforesaid of a Child or Children which shall be born and Deliverd of the Body of Mary Stephens of the parish aforesaid for and dureing the Term of seven years without Fraud or further delay Then this Obligation to be void and of none effect or Else to remain in full Force and Virtue
