Know all men by these Presents, that
we Samuel Saundry the elder Samuel Saundry the younger
and Edward Willcock of the Parish of Lanteglos near
Fowey in the County of Cornwall yeomen are held and
firmly bound unto Richard Burn and Thomas Trubody
Churchwardens and Joseph Geach and John Webb overseers
of the poor of the Parish of Lanteglos near Fowey in the
County of Cornwall aforesaid ( in trust for the
Parishioners of the said Parish) in fifty Pounds of good
and lawful money of Great Britain to be paind to the
said Richard Burn Thomas Trubody Josseph Geach and John
Webb or their certain attorney their executors,
administrators or assigns: To which to which payment
well and truly to be made we bind ourselves and each of
us jointly and severally and our and each of our heirs
executors and administrators firmly by these presents:
Sealed with our Seals and dated the twenty third day of
May in the twenty second year of the reign of our
Sovereign Lord George the third of Great Britain France
and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and so forth and
in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and
eighty two.
