Know all Men by these presents that we Joseph Vice of the parish of Lansallos in the County of Cornwall Husbandman and William Allford the younger of the parish of Saint Veep in the County aforesaid Husbandman am holden and firmly bound unto John Hoppen and Robert Reane of the parish of Lantegloss by Fowey Church wardens and Mr. Robert Beale and William Honey of the said parish of Lantegloss overseers of the poor of the same parish in the sum of One Hundred Pounds of lawfull money of Great Britain to the said Church Warden Overseers of the Poor and their successors and every and either of them and to their certain Attorney and Assigns to which payment well and truly to be made we hereby bind ourselves our Heirs Executors and Administrators and every and either of the jointly and severally by these presents Sealed with our Seals dated this Second day of March in the Third year of the raign of our Soveraign Lord George the Third by the grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the faith 1764
 
The condition of the Obligation is such that if the above bounden Joseph Vice and William Allford or any of them their or any of their heirs or any of their heirs Executors or Administrators do or shall from time to time and all times hereafter well and sufficiently save defend and keep harmless and indemnified the above named John Hoppen and Robert Reane Church Wardens for the time being and Mr. Robert Beale and William Honey Overseers for the time being of the parish of Lantegloss by Fowey and their respective successors and also all and every other the inhabitants and parishioners whatsoever or hereafter shall be of the said parish and every and either of them respectively for of and from the finding keeping educatng instructing bringing up and providing for the baze child of Elizabeth Allford of the parish of Lantegloss by Fowey aforesaid and from all accounts such costs charges troubles expences damages and demands whatsoever which they or any of them shall or may happen to incur sustain or be put unto for and in respect of the said baze child as aforesaid that then this present Obligation to be void or ---? To stand in full power and virtue In witness where of the parties to these presents their hands and seals have put ---? the day and year first above written
