The Will of Henry Langdon, dated 17 April 1860

In Her Majesty’s Court of Probate
BE IT KNOWN, that on the twenty sixth day of June 1860, the last Will and
Testament, hereunto annexed, of Henry Langdon, late of the Borough of Camelford
in the County of Cornwall, Yeoman, deceased, who died on the 2nd May 1860, at
Camelford aforesaid, and who at the time of his death had a fixed place of abode
at Camelford aforesaid within the District of the County of Cornwall, was
proved, and registered in the said District Registry of Bodmin, attached to her
Majesty’s Court of Probate, and that the administration of all and singular the
personal estate and effects of the said deceased was granted by the aforesaid
Court to Nancy Langdon widow the Relict and Sole Executrix named in the said
Will, she having been first sworn well and faithfully to administer the same, by
paying the just debts of the deceased and the legacies contained in his Will so
far as She is thereunto bound by law, and to exhibit a true and perfect
inventory of all and singular the said estate and effects, and to render a just
and true account thereof whenever required by law to do so. Given at Bodmin
under the Seal of my Office

This is the last Will and Testament of me Henry Langdon of Camelford in the
County of Cornwall Yeoman. I give devise and bequeath All my Messuages, Lands,
Tenements and Hereditaments all my Household Furniture ready money Securities
for Money Goods and Chattels and all other my real and personal estate and
effects whatsoever and wheresoever unto my dear Wife Nancy Langdon her heirs
executors administrators and assigns to and for her and their own absolute use
and benefit according to the nature and quality thereof respectively subject
only to the payment of my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses and the
charges of proving and registering this my Will. And I appoint my said Wife
Executrix of this my Will and hereby revoke all other Wills. In Witness whereof
I have hereunto set my hand the seventeenth day of April One thousand eight
hundred and sixty.
The mark or sign of Henry Langdon
Signed by the said Testator as his last Will and Testament in the presence of us
present at the same time who at his request and in his presence and in the
presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses
