The
District Registry At Bodmin BE IT KNOWN that on the 15th of November 1871 the Last Will and testament hereunto annexed, of Richard Fowler late of Nanstallan in the Parish of Bodmin in the County of Cornwall deceased, who died on the 30th day of October 1871 at Nanstallon aforesaid and who at the time of his death had a fixed place of abode at Nanstallan aforesaid within the District of the County of Cornwall, was proved and Registered in the District registry attached to Her Majesties Court of Probate at Bodmin, and that administration of all and singular the Personal Estate and effects of the said deceased was granted by the aforesaid Court to Ann Fowler Widow the Relict and William Fowler the Son of the said deceased the Executor named in the said Will they having been first sworn well and faithfully to administer the same by paying the just debts of the deceased and the legacies contained in his Will and to exhibit a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the said Estate and effects, and to render a just and true account thereof whenever required by the law to do so Jn Bassett Collins Annexed thereto THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me RICHARD FOWLER OF NANSTALLON in the Parish of Bodmin in the County of Cornwall Yeoman After payment of my debts and funeral and testamentary expenses I give devise and bequeath to my son WILLIAM his Executors Administrators and Assigns all my farming stock and agricultural and mill implements of which I shall die possessed I give also to my son William his heirs and assigns all that Leasehold of New Downs and Berry Lane together with the 2 Dwelling Houses therein occupied by John Dyer and Joseph Hicks except that part of the said Leasehold now in the occupation of Nicholas Magor and John Barratt I give devise and bequeath all my Freehold and Leasehold now occupied by Nicholas Magor and John Barrett to my Wife Ann during the term of her natural life and from and after her decease I give devise and bequeath the same in manner following that is to say after the death of my said wife I give devise and bequeath all those 2 freehold Dwelling Houses gardens and premises situate at Windwhistle in the Parish of Lanivet now in the occupations of John Northcott and n Ann Vercoe unto my daughter Mary wife of William Hugo during the term of her natural life and from and after her decease I give and devise the same unto her children who shall be living in equal shares Also after my death of my wife I give and devise all those my 2 freehold dwelling houses situate at Gold Bank in the parish of Lanivet now in the respective occupations of Elizabeth Grose and William Hawken unto my daughter Jane the wife of Charles Williams during the term of her natural life and from and after her decease I give and devise the same unto her children who shall then be living in equal shares and after the death of my wife I give and devise all those my 4 freehold Dwelling Houses situate in Gold Bank in the parish of Lanivet and now in the occupation of William Hugo Ann Oke Henry Ellery and John Harris unto my son William his Heirs and Assigns Also after the death of my wife I give and devise unto my son William his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns ALL that Leasehold known as Bears Tenement situate in the Parish of Bodmin and now in the occupations of Henry Hambly and myself Also after the death of my Wife I give and devise all that part of the Leasehold of New Downs now in the occupations of Nicholas Magor and John Barrett to my son William his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns ALL the rest residue and remainder of my property of what nature or kind soever of which I may die possessed I give devise and bequeath unto my Wife Ann Fowler and my son William in equal shares and whom I appoint EXECUTORS of this my Will Richard Foster? SIGNED published and declared by the said Testators Richard Fowler as and for his Last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence and at his request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses
