William Thomas, jun., of St Winnow, James Thomas of Reperry and James Thomas, jun., of Lanivet; confessed to assault and battery: fined 6d. each
 
30 April 1778
Elizabeth Eyre, jun., of Lanivet, spinster; acquitted of stealing two Holland shirts and two muslin cravats, value 2s., from John Lake, clerk; also of stealing one cotton gown, value 5s.
 
17 January 1788
Simon Merrifield of Lanivet, mason; assault and battery, pleaded guilty: fined 6d.
 
18 July 1793
John Barrett of Lanivet, and Matthew Bray of Kenwyn, labourers; convicted of taking one piece of silver, a half crown, the property of William Williams, value 6d. [nominal value put on all items stolen, regardless of actual value]: both 9 months' hard labour
 
10th July 1804
William Phillipps and Samuel Polmear, both of Lanivet, labs. indicted for taking 5 gallons of cider, a quart of Geneva [gin] and a quart of metheglin [mead], property of Thomas Thomas: S.P. acquitted. W.P. received three months' hard labour in bridewell.
 
23rd April 1811
Joseph Scobell of Lanivet, lab., indicted for taking four shilling coins, property of Ann Thomas: three months' hard labour in bridewell.
 
20th October 1818
Richard Reynolds of Lanivet, lab., indicted for taking various quantities of timber and candles, a miner's axe, steel gads, pieces of iron and two window shutters, property of Samuel Vivian and his partners in Wheal Change mine, Lanivet: six months hard labour in house of correction, Bodmin.
 
9 January 1821
Ann Goss of Lanivet, singlewoman, indicted for taking a stone jug, value 6d. and two fowls, value 6d. property of Thomas Baron: acquitted. Also indicted for taking a neck handkerchief and a piece of "Long cloth", each valued at 6d. property of Thomas Baron, jun.: six months in Launceston gaol.
 
13 January 1829
John Phillips of Lanivet, yeoman, indicted for assault on Thomas Bryant. Pleaded guilty: fined 1s. paid in court.
 
28 April 1829
John Kinsman of Lanivet, lab., indicted for stealing a shovel and a mole trap, property of William James. Pleaded guilty: six months' hard labour in Bodmin gaol.
 
19 October 1830
Martin Tresidder of Lanivet, lab., indicted for stealing a faggot of wood, property of Robert Neele: two weeks' hard labour in Bodmin gaol.
 
18th October 1831
John Harper and Nicholas Richards, both of Lanivet , labs. indicted for obstructing two shafts, one of a mine belonging to Simon Irving and the other of a mine belonging to Bennet Johns, and for damaging a windlass and tackle belonging to Simon Irving; John Harper received one year's hard labour in Bodmin gaol and Nicholas Richards one month's hard labour in Bodmin gaol.
 
1st January 1833
John Key of Lanivet, lab., indicted for stealing ten sheaves of oats, property of Thomas Solomon: acquitted.
 
5th January 1836
Samuel Percival and Patrick O'Sullivan, both of Lanivet, labs., indicted for stealing a tablecloth, three pieces of muslin and a flannel shirt, property of Stephen Bate: both received six weeks' hard labour in Bodmin gaol then private whipping.
