Seven Pence Quire (stamped with crown) Known all men by those presents that wee Henry Bulling late of the Bourough of Callington in the County of Cornwall Mason & James Herring of the Borrough of Callington in the County aforesaid taylor doe acknowledge or.selves to owe and be firmely indebted unto Alexander Moon & Thomas Greet Overseers of the parish of Landulph County aforesaid in the full & just sume of fifty pounds lawfull moneys of great Brittaine for the payment of which well and truely to be made wee bind ourselves joyntly & severall firmly by these presents as witness of hands and seales this on the twentieth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and twelve. The Condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bounden Henry Bulling & James Herring the heires Executrs Assignes or any or either of them doo well and truely pay unto the above named Alexander Moon or Thomas Great or those successrs. in the office of Overseers of the poor for the parish of Landulph aforesaid the full and just summe of five ??? pounds of lawfull money of Great Brittaine aforesaid or if the said Henry Bulling or James Herring their Heires Executrs. or Assignes doe exonerate free? & discharge the said parish of Landulph from all troubles charges maintainance or incombrances which may or shall happen by reason of a base child which one Margaret Huxham shee now goeth with, and hath made oath before one of her Majesties Justice of the Peace that the said Henry Bulling was the father of the same that then this obligation is to be void & of none effect otherwise to remaine to & abide in full for & virtue.

I Sampson Bulling of the parish of Landulph doe promise & Covenant to & wth. the said Overseers & the rest of the parishioners of Landulph aforesaid that if the said Henry Bulling & James Herring are not able or do not pre? the within obligation according to the true intent & meaning of the annexed obligations doe hereby bind myself to performe the same as witness my hand & seal this one & twenty day of July one thousand seaven & twelve 1712
