Know all Men by these Presents That wee John Moone of the Parish of Landulph in the County of Cornwall Yeoman and Alexander Moone of the same Parish and County Yeoman are held and firmly stand Bound unto Francis Lee and Thomas Pethen? Churchwardens and William Nanscawen and Joseph Hodge Overseers of the Poor of the Said Parish of Landulph in the Sum of Thirty Pounds of Lawfull Money of Greta Britain to be Paid unto the said Francis Lee Thomas Pethen? William Nanscawen & Joseph Hodge or Their Lawfull Attorney Their Exores admoree or assigns for the Sure and true Payment of Which to be made We bind Our Selves & Each of our and Each of our Heires Exores and Admors firmly by these Presents Sealed With our Seales Dated the Twentyeth Day of June in the Eighteenth Year of the Reigne of our Sovereigne Lord George the Second by the Grace of God of Great Britain france and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and so forth and in the Year of our Lord one Thousand Seven Hundred and forty four.

Whereas Margarett Ellot of the said Parish of Landulph Singlewoman hath lately been Delivered within the said Parish of Landulph of a Male Bastard Child which is likely to become Chargeable to the said Parish Now The Condition of This Obligation is such That if the above Bounden John Moone and Alexander Moone or Either of Them Their or Either of their Heires Exores or admores Doo and shall from time to time and at all times here after Save harmless and Keep Indemnified the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor above named And the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor and other the Parishoners of the said Parish of Landulph for the Time being of and from all Costs Charges Damages Suits Troubles and Expences Whatsoever Which shall or may at any time hereafter Happen or Accrew unto or Against them the said Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor above named or the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor and other the Parishoners of the said Parish of Landulph for the Time being for and Concerning the said Bastard Child That Then the above Obligation to be void otherwise to Stand and Remain in full force and vertue.
