In the name of God Amen. I Mary Beer of the Parish of Michaelstow in the County of Cornwall Widow being in sound mind memory and understanding but considering the great uncertainty of human life do whilst I have an opportunity make publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former and other Wills by me at any time heretofore made or executed. First my Will is and I do hereby direct that all my just debts funeral expences and costs changes of proving this my Will shall be paid as soon after my decease as conveniently may be. Also I give devise and bequeathe unto Mary Batten my Houses and Gardens already situated at Pendoggett in the Parish of Saint Kew. Secondly I give devise and bequeathe unto Susanna Bawden my Brothers wife my Field called or known by the name of Diggs’s Meadow situate at Pendoggett in the Parish of Saint Kew and I do hereby nominate make constitute and appoint the said Susanna Bawden sole executrix of this my last Will and Testament
In Witness whereof I the said Mary Beer have to this my last Will and Testament contained in one Sheet of paper set my hand and seal this third day of February One thousand eight hundred and Forty eight.
Signed sealed published and declared by the said Mary Beer the Testator as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at her request and in her presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses hereto
