W. J. TREZISE, Mr.

Mr. W. J. Trezise.
The many friends of Mr. W. J. Trezise will regret to learn of his death,
which occurred yesterday at the Dalby Hospital. The late Mr. Trezise,
who was 76 years of age, was a widely esteemed and highly respected
resident of Collingwood Street, Paddington. With Mrs. Trezise he arrived
in Brisbane from Cornwall, England by the s.s. Tara in May, 1891.
Shortly after landing in Queensland Mr. Trezise joined the Brisbane
Tramways, and remained in that service until his retirement in December,
1931, when he also celebrated his golden wedding. For many years he held
the post of depot master at Paddington. At the time of his death Mr.
Trezise was on a visit to a daughter–Mrs. R. Aravandino, of Dalby. He is
survived by his widow, four married sons–Messrs. S. G. Trezise (Toowong),
G. E. Trezise (Bardon), W. J. Trezise (Yeronga), J. M. Trezise
(Paddington)–four daughters–Mrs. R. Shaw (Graceville), Mrs. C. Mair
(Paddington), Mrs D. Fuller (Adelaide), Mrs. F. Aravandino (Dalby)–and
15 grandchildren.
