The Will of Edward Franches, dated 30 October 1742
 

In the Name of God Amen I Edward Franches of the Parish of Kenwen in the County of Cornwall being Sick and weak in Body but of Sound and perfect memory I Beques my Bodey to the Earth and my Soul to God that gave it to be Buried in a Decent manner
Primes Item I Give to my Brother John Franches the Sum of One Shilling to be paid upon Demands Item I Give unto my Sister Mary Franches the Sum of One Shilling to be paid upon Demands. Item I Give to my Sister Rebecca Franches the Sum of One Shilling to be paid upon Demands Lastly I do hereby make my Wife Cathren Franches my holley and Solely Executor of all my Goods and Chattells of Quick and Ded as Witness my hand this 30th Day of October in the year of 1742

The before written Will was proved in Common Form the 9th February 1746 Before the Rev.d M William Waddon Clerk M.r of Arts Official etc And Admion of all and Singular the Goods Chattells and Creditts of the said Deced, and of all things howsoever concerning the said Will was Granted to the Exec.ts therein named/Oath being first made etc Saveing etc
