the said Will was granted to
Samuel Cook the Grandson of
the said deced and the surviving
Executor named in the said Will

In the Name of God Amen
I Richard Broad of the Parish of Goran and County
of Cornwall Being in Perfect mind and Memory
thanks be to Almighty God Doth make this my
Last Will and Testament in Manor and form following
that is to say, I Give and Bequeath my soul to Almighty
God that gave it, and my Body the earth to be
Buried in Christian Like Maner Also I give unto Jane my
Daughter the sum of one Shilling after my Decease
Also I Give unto Samul and Mary Cooke Son and Daughter
of my Daughter Mary Cooke my Wach with all my
Wareing apparel also all the money for Wagges and Prize
Money which shall become due from the Navey Pay Office
to me which became Due to me by the Death of
my son Richard Broad who Died on Board the
Salby Frigates at sea when the aforesaid Samul and
Mary Cooke shall atain the age of twenty one or ether
of them, after my funeral Charge and Debts shall be
Paid also I do make Constitute and appoint the said
Samul and Mary Cooke my hole and sole Executors of
all my Goods and Chattels what so ever kind they Be
Lastly Also I Do make John Wills Gardent over the aforesaid
Executors and to Receive all Debts Due to me and to
pay all my Funeral Charge and my Debts whatsoever
kind the may be if I leve so much behind me, and
the money so left to Remain in John Wills hand
untill my Executors atain the age of Twenty one,
as Witness my Hand this fifth day of January one
