Will of Robert Hunt, dated 28 August 1748

In the Name of God Amen I Robert Hunt of the Parish of St Sampsons in the County of Cornwall being weak in Body but of a sound and disposing mind and memory Blessed be God for the same I do hereby make this my last Will and Testament and hereby Revoke all former Wills by me made
First I give unto my Dear Mother Cathrine Hunt one Bed furnished, three Pewter Platters, Six Pewter Plats, one Brass Crock, one Warming pan and one Brandise to be Chosen by her the said Cathrine Hunt
Also I Give and Bequeath unto my brother Henry Hunt one shilling to be paid him by my Executors hereinafter named within six months after my Death
Also I Give unto my Sister Elizabeth Rowter one shilling to be paid her by my Executors herein after named within six months after my Death
All the Rest Residue and Remainder of my Goods Chattels Rights and Credits of what nature or kind soever they be
I Give and Bequeath unto my brother Joseph Clark and my sister Catherine Hunt the wife of Henry Hunt of this parish and do hereby make constitute and appoint my said Brother Joseph Clark and my said Sister Cathrine Hunt the Joint Executors of this my last Will and Testament . In Witness whereof I have hearunto Set my Hand and Seal this Twenty Eight Day of August in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred forty Eight

Signed Sealed Published and Declared by the
Said Robert Hunt the Testator to be his last Will and
Testament in presence of us who have Subscribed our
Names as Witnesses in his presence and at his Request

The before written Will of the beforenamed Robert Hunt deced is a true Copy Examined and Compared with the Original 13th Sept 1748 by us

The before written Will of the beforenamed Robert Hunt decd was proved in common forme the 9th Sept 1748 before the Revd Mr Jonathan Baron Clerk Master of Arts Surrogate etc and admion of the Goods etc of the Said decd and of all things howsoever Concerning the Said Will was Granted to the Executors therein named being first Sworne etc Saveing etc
Sum total of the Inventory Exhibited £56- 9s-6d
