Appeared personally Peggy Downing the wife of
(initialled L.M. in margin) John Downing of Falmouth the county
of Cornwall Shipwright and Jane Conway
of Falmouth aforesaid Widow
Executrixes named in the last Will and Testament of
Margaret Eva late of Falmouth aforesaid
Widow deceased
who died on the ninth Day of February 1836
and made Oath, that they have made diligent search and due enquiry after, and in respect of the Personal Estate and Effects of the said Deceased, in order to ascertain the full Amount and Value thereof; and that to the best of their knowledge, information and belief, the whole of the Goods, Chattels, & Credits, of which the said Deceased died possessed within the Peculiar Jurisdiction of the Bishop of Exeter, (exclusive of what the Deceased may have been possessed of, or intitled to as a Trustee for any other Person or Persons, and not beneficially, including the Leasehold Estates for Years of the Deceased, whether absolute or determinable on lives, and without deducting any thing on Account of the Debts due and owing from the Deceased,) are under the Value of three hundred pounds to the best of these Deponents knowledge, information, and belief. And the Deponents lastly made Oath, that the said deceased was not possessed of or entitled to any Leasehold Estate or Estates for Years, either absolute or determinable on a life or lives, to the best of their these Deponents knowledge, information and belief.

This is the last Will & Testament of me Margaret Eva of Falmouth in the county of Cornwall Widow -
I give & bequeath to the Treasurer for the time being of the London Missionary Society the sum of Five pounds -
To my niece Mary Kelleway I give Five pounds -
And to my neice Julia Rowe I also give Five pounds -
To John Downing the Elder I give Five pounds as a mark of my grateful esteem -
All the rest & residue of my Property I give & bequeath to my Sister Jane Conway & my Niece Peggy Downing to be equally divided between them -
I also appoint them the said Jane Conway & Peggy Downing Joint Executrixes of this my last Will & Testament -
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this second day of June 1831
