Deceased Proved in
Common form before
the Worshipful John
Sleech Clk Master of
Arts Archdeaconry
 
And Admion of
the Goods etc of the said
Deced & of all Things
howsoever Concerning
the said Will was Granted to
the Executor therein
Named / being first Sworn
etc / Saving etc/
No Inventory
 
IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN I John Michell
Yeoman of the Parish of Saint Ewe in the County of
Cornwall being in Perfecte memory Blessed be God therefore
Revoking all former Wills by me made do Constitute this to
be my last Will and testament and first of all I recommend
my Soul to God hoping at the general Resurrection to
receive the same again and my Body to the Earth to be
Buried in a Christian like manner to the discretion of my
Executor and for the Worldly goods it hath pleased
Almighty God to bless me with I give and dispose of
in Manner following :-
FIRST I give to my son Benjamin all that my Tenement in
Gorran church Town Alias Laweron & & & & &
& & & & & & now in my and under Tenants possession
imediately after my decease more I give to my Said Son
Benjamin his Executors & Administrators the one fourth
part of my two Reversionary Tenements in Gorran
Church Town aforesaid after the death of Mr. Henry
Cole
more I give to my said Son Benjamin the second
best bed furnished in my House.
ALSO I give to my daughter Ipsa Parnall one fourth part of
my aforesaid Reversionary Tenement in Gorran Church
Town and in Case my daughter Ipsa should die to her
two daughter Ipsa & Mary Parnal and in Case either
of them shall happen to die the Survivor to have the
both parts.
ALSO I give to my Son John Michell & my Son in Law Richard
Parnal
the one fourth part of my aforesaid Reversionary
Tenements in Gorran Church Town in Trust for my
Daughter Mary her Child or Children.
AND LASTLY I give all my goods Chattles and Effects not before
given to my son John Michell whom I make my whole and
Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament and to
receive all my Debts dues and Demands and to pay all my
Debts and Legasies In Witness whereof I have hereunto
set my Hand and Seal this Thirteenth day of July one
thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy four
