Will of William Broade, dated 26 September 1630

In the name of God Amen The XXVIth daye of September Ano
Dni 1630 I William Broade the elder of the pish of St Ewe
in the county of Cornwall husbandman beinge sicke in boddy but
of pfect mynde and memory praised be God doe make and
ordaine this my last Will and Testament in manner following
First I bequeathe my soule to Almighty God my maker and
redeemer and my boddy to Christian buriall; Itm I give
unto Jone my wife her Coffer and all her wearinge
Apparrell, Itm I give unto John Broade my sonne
Three shillings & fower pence of lawfull money to be paid
him within six months next after my death I give all the
residewe of my goods and Chattles moveable and
unmoveable not given and unbequeathed I give and
bequeath unto William Broade my younger sonne and unto
Agnes, Katheryn and Emlyn my three youngest Daughters
The which after my Debts and Legacies paid and my
funeral expenses deducted to be equally Devided
amongst them fower And I doe make and ordaine
my sonne William my whole and sole Executor of this
my last Will, And I doe utterlye renounce revoke and
disallowe all former wills trusts legacies & bequeaths
whatsoever heretofore had made or done by me and
for the better and xxxxxxx establishinge of this my last
Will I doe heereby Authorise and ordaine James
Rundle
the elder to be my overseer of the same In
witness whereof I the said William Broade have
heereunto put my hande and seale geaven? the Daye
and yere First above written
