Joseph Body
Yeoman deced proved in Common
Form before John Wallis the
younger Clerk Surrogate etc
And Admion of all
and singular the Goods etc of
the said deced and any way
concerning the said Will was
granted to Joseph Body
and Charles Body the
Exors therein named

I Joseph Body of the Parish of St Ewe in the County
of Cornwall Yeoman being of sound mind and
memory that weak in Body do make this my last
Will and Testament in manner and form following
I give and bequeath unto my daughter Viddey Body
my Milk Cow. I also give and bequeath unto my said
Daughter the House Garden and Orchard part of
the Tenement called Lane End or Town End Tenement
during her life. I also give and bequeath unto my
said Daughter All my Household Furniture Linen
Plate China etc of every kind and description I also
give and bequeath unto my said Daughter one
Annuity or clear Rent charge of Twenty pounds a
year payable quarterly during Her life. And I do
charge my Leasehold and other property with the
said annuity or Rent charge of twenty pounds a year
payable quarterly and that my said Daughter shall
have the same remedy by distress or otherwise as
the Law provides when Rent is in arrear and unpaid
I give and bequeath unto my son Joseph Body my
Leasehold estate called James Tenement during my
Estate and Interest therein. I give and bequeath unto
my Son Charles Body my two Leasehold Tenements
called Lane and otherwise Town and Mays Tenements
during my estate and interest therein respectively.
All the rest residue and remainder of my goods
chattels credits effects and property of every kind
and description and wheresever situate I give
and bequeath unto my Sons Joseph Body and Charles
Body to be divided equally between them subject to
the annuity or Rent charge to my daughter of twenty
pounds a year as before mentioned. And I do nominate
and appoint my Sons Joseph Body and Charles Body
Executors of this my last Will and Testament In Witness
whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this
twenty sixth day of June one thousand eight hundred
and thirty nine
Signed Sealed published and declared
by the said Testator Joseph Body as
and for his last Will and Testament
in presence of us

Court of Cornwall
In the Goods etc of Joseph Body late
of the parish of Saint Ewe in the
County of Cornwall Yeoman deceased
Appeared personally Thomas Stark of Mevagissey
in the County of Cornwall Gentleman and made his
affirmation being one of the people called Quakers
that he is one of the subscribed Witnesses to the Last Will
and Testament of Joseph Body late of the parish of Saint
Ewe in the County of Cornwall Yeoman deceased now
hereunto annexed beginning thus "I Joseph Body of
"the parish of St Ewe in the County of Cornwall Yeoman"
ending thus "In witness whereof I have hereunto set my
"hand and seal this twenty sixth day of June one
"thousand eight hundred and thirty nine" and thus
subscribed "Joseph Body" And that his deponent and
Mary Pascoe the other subscribed Witness to the same Will
were present at the same time when the said deceased
on the twenty sixth day of June last past wrote and
subscribed his name to the said Will and this
deponent and the said Mary Pascoe subscribed their
names thereto in the presence of the said Testator and of
each other as Witnesses thereof
On the sixth day of March
one thousand eight hundred and forty
the said Thomas Stark & duly
made this his Affirmation
