The Will of Thomas Andrew, dated 15 May 1736

The Will and Inventry of
the Goods & So forth of
one Thomas Androw lately
deced, proved in Comon
forme before Me Daue
Bandris Clerk M of
Arts, Surrogate & So forth
And Admion of all and
Singular the Goods and
so forth of the said dec.
& of all things howsever
Covering his Will was
Granted to John Andrew
Son of the Sd decd one of
the execrs therein named
(a power being reserved
of granting the like
Admion to Wm Andrew
the Son also and other Execr
in the said Will named
whensoever he shall
think fit to take the Same
upon himself) being first
in due forme of Law Sworne

In the name of god amen I Thomas Andrew of the parish of St Enoder in the
County of Cornwall, being grown old and weak in body but of sound and perfect mind and
understanding thanks be to god for it, and calling to mind the mortality of mans
body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to dye make and
ordaine this to be my last will and Testament in maner and form as following
principally and first of all I recommend my soul unto the hands of almighty god
that give it hopeing to Receive pardon and forgivenis for all my sins and
my body to the earth to be interred after a Christian like and decent maner
of burial at the Discretion of my Execrs., here after names and as for such
worldly goods as it hath pleased god to bless me with in this life I give devise
and dispose of in maner and form following
Imprimus I give and bequeath to my wife the bed over the kiching furnished as astands
wherein I give to my wife the clome upon the shelf and the little iron Croke and
also two platters and a half dozen of plates and also I give to my wife the round
table over the kiching Item I give to my wife five pounds a year out of my
Estate called Tresurruns to be paid by quartly payments during her life
Item I give to my eldest son John the Estate I now live in called by the
name of Tollamena with all the tools in the shope
Item I give to my daughter Mary ten shillings
Item I give to my son Thomas ten shillings
Item I give to my daughter Bettreas five pounds
Item I give to my daughter Effe five pounds
and also five pounds more wich was Given by her oncle John gay?
Item I give all the rest of my Estate and goods I am now posest of to my
son John and my son William equaly to be divided and doe make them
to be my whole and sole Exeors of this my last will and Testament as
witness my hand and seale this fifteen day of may 1736
