The Will of William Brown, dated 4 December 1837, proved 11 May 1838

In the name of God Amen

I William Brown of Treswara in the parish of St Endellion being weak in body but of sound Mind do make my last Will and Testament in the following maner that is to say
 
First and princably I Recommend My soul to God Through the Merrits of my saveour and my Boddy to have a desent Christian Burial by my executrix hereinafter named and as to my worldly Goods that I may die in posseation of I give in the following manner To my dear Wife Ann Brown I give everything I have during her Natural life as well as my freehold Tenement where on I now live as Money and securityes for money with the power to use any part or all if she would want it for her support and what ever may be left if anything at the time of her death I give to all my five children share and share alike except my Household furniture which I give my dafter Fanny Hawke wife of Thomas Hawke by her paying Two Pounds which shall also be equally divided between my children or there children in case of eather of there deaths before there mother my above named wife who I appoint my whole and sole Exectorex and charge with all my lawfull detts as witness my sign this fourth day of December 1837.
