THIS INDENTURE made the 21st day of
September in the Year of Our Lord 1792 and in the 32nd
year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third
by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland
King Defender of the Faith and so Forth BETWEEN Degory
Gray of the Parish of Endellion in the County of
Cornwall Gentleman of the one part and Francis Brown of
the same Parish Gentleman of the other part WITNESSETH
that the said Degory Gray in consideration of 5/- of
lawful money of Great Britain to him in hand paid by the
said Francis Brown at or before the sealing and delivery
of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged HAYTH Bargained and Sold in and by theses
presents DOTH Bargain and Sell unto the said Francis
Brown his Executors Administrators and Assigns ALL that
part of all that one Tenement commonly called or known
by the name or names of TREVARTHEN alias TREVATHEN alias
TREVATHEAN lying and being in the village and fields of
Trevarthen alias Trevathen alias Trevathean in the said
Parish of Saint Endellion AND ALSO ALL that one Messuage
and Tenement consisting of a Dwelling House Garden and
Moiety of all these Lands Ditches Pieces and parcels of
Land Meadow and Pasture commonly called or known by the
name of HETHERBUTT also lying and being in the said
Parish of Saint Endellion all which said premises are
now in the occupation of Richardson Gray Together with
all Houses Edifices Buildings Orchards Gardens Lands
Meadows Feedings Pastures Commons Commons of pasture
Wastes Ways paths waters watercourses profits
commodities hereditaments rights members and
appurtenances whatsoever to the said premises belonging
or in any wise appertaining or to or with the same or
any part or parcel thereof held used or enjoyed or
reputed deemed or taken as part parcel or member thereof
AND the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and
Remainders Rents Issues Profits thereof TO HAVE AND TO
HOLD all and singular the said part of the said Tenement
Lands Hereditaments and premises called Trevarthen alias
Trevathen alias Trevathean and Messuage Tenament Lands
and premises called Hetherbut aforesaid hereby bargained
and sold or meant or mentioned and intended so to be and
every part and parcel thereof with their rights members
and appurtenances unto the said Francis Brown his
Executors Administrators and Assigns from the day next
before the date of these presents for and during and
unto the full end and term of one whole year from thence
next ensuing and fully to be complete and ended YIELDING
AND PAYING therefore unto Degory Gray his Executors
Administrators and Assigns the rent of one pepper corn
at the expiration of the said term if the same shall be
lawfully demanded TO the intent and purpose that by
virtue of these presents and of the Statute for
transferring uses into possession the said Francis Brown
may be in the actual possession of the premises and be
thereby enabled to take accept a Grant and Release of
the Freehold Reversion and Inheritance of the same
premises and every part and parcel thereof to him his
Heirs and Assigns forever To the uses therein mentioned
IN WITNESS whereof the parties aforesaid to these
presents their hands and seals interchangeably have set
