Extracted by Mark Guy Bodmin THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me JOHN GRAY of the Parish of Endellion in the County of Cornwall yeoman I GIVE and all my personal estate and effects unto my wife Susanna Gray absolutely subject to the payment of my just debts personal and testamentary expenses I devise all my real estate unto my nephew Nicholas Cleave the younger of Lenow in the Parish of Saint Kew his heirs executors and administrators UPON TRUST that he the said Nicholas Cleave the younger shall let the same and pay the rent thereof to my said wife during her life AND after her death I DEVISE my said real estate to my nephew the said Nicholas Cleave the younger his heirs executors administrators and assigns (subject nevertheless to an annuity of £5 to my Brother William Henry Gray and his assigns during his life to be payable by equal quarterly payments the first of such payments to be made at the end of 3 calendar months next after the decease of my said wife and also subject to the payment of the following legacies namely TO my nephews and nieces the children of Nicholas Cleave of Lenow aforesaid £5 each except John to whom I bequeath a legacy of £20 free of Legacy Duty to be paid to them 6 calendar months after the decease of my said wife I APPOINT the said Nicholas Cleave the younger EXECUTOR of this my will IN WITNESS whereof I the said John Gray the Testator have to this my last will and testament set my hand this 8th day of November 1887.
