The Will of John Eustis dated 15 August 1692 (7 May 1694)In the name of God Amen I John Eustis of the
p[ar]ish of Crowan in the County of Cornwall yeoman being in p[er]fect
memory praised be God for it doe here make and ordaine this to bee or as
my last Will and Testame[n]t in manner and Forme Following -Imp[rimis] I
bequeath my soule unto my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ my alone Saviour
and redeemer through whose meritts and intersession for whose death and
passions sake I hope and believe to have p[ar]din and forgiveness for my
sins and by his mediation obtaine the mercy of God and everlasting
Blisse in the Kingdome of heaven after my dissolution and departure
heure and my body to Devout Christian buryall [O]fnd as touching the
disposing of my Temperall Estate I doe hereby give and dispose of the
same as Follows - H[ere]in I give and bequeath unto my son John EUSTIES
one shilling - H[ere]in my will is That in Cause my Exe[cu]tor
shall neglect or refuse ye payment of the said sume of Foure pounds or
any p[ar]te thereof to his mother by the spase of Forty days being
Lawfull demanded That when it shall and may bee Lawfull for his mother
into the Tenement of Kerten to enter possess and enjoy as her owne
