Know all men by these presents that we JOHN MITCHELL the younger of the parish of Cambourn in the County of Cornwall Gentleman JAMES PAUL of the Town of Redruth in the said County, Gentleman And RICHARD MITCHELL of the Burrough of Truroe And County aforesaid Gentleman And each of us jointly and severally for our selves our heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns firmly bound unto THOMAS SHEAR, WILLIAM DINGEY and JOHN VERCOE Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the parish of St. Clements in the said County of Cornwall And their successors in the sum of Fifty Pounds of Lawful money of Great Britain to be paid to the said Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said parish of St. Clements and their successors, To which payment we each of us jointly & severally Bind ourselves our heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns firmly by these presents - Sealed with our Seals this Twenty first Day of July in the twenty sixth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second By the Grace of God of Great Britain France & Ireland King Defender of the Faith and so forth And in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and fifty two.

The Condition of this Obligation is such that if the above bounden JOHN MITCHELL his heirs Executors Administrators And Assigns and them and every or either of them do from time to time And at all times hereafter Clearly and fully Acquitt discharge and keep themselves the above named THOMAS SHEAR, WILLIAM DINGEY & JOHN VERCOE Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said parish of Saint Clements And their successors for the time being As also all other the Inhabitants of the said parish which now are or hereafter shall be And Every of them of And from all manner of Costs Charges Troubles and Incumbrances whatsoever for or by reason of the Birth Maintenance Nourishing Educating and bringing up of a certain male Child lately born and begotten on the body of CATHERINE RAWLING of the said parish of Saint Clements single woman whereof the said JOHN MITCHELL now stands as reputed Father And of and from all Actions Suits Charges Troubles and Demands whatsoever concerning the same That then this Obligation to be void otherwise to remain in full force & virtue.
