The voluntary Examination of ELIZABETH BENNY of the
Parish of Saint Cleer in the said County single Woman,
taken on Oath before me WILLIAM JOPE Esquire one of his
Majesty’s Justices of the peace in and for the said
County the Third day of May in the Year of our Lord One
Thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty seven Who saith that
she is now with Child, and that the said Child is likely
to be born a Bastard, and to be chargeable to the said
Parish of Saint Cleer and that CHRISTOPHER HAMBLY OF THE
SAID Parish of Saint Cleer Husbandman is the Father of
the said Child
