MADE THE thirtieth day of May in the year of Our Lord
1698 in the ? year of the reign of Our Sovereign Lord
William the Third by the Grace of God of England
Scotland France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith
BETWEENE John Earl of Bridgewater of Ashbridge in the
County of Bucks John Burrington of Sandford in the
County of Devon Esquire and John Garland of Whitefold in
the sayd County of Devon Esquire of the one part and
Patrick Bunt of Cardinham in the County of Cornwall
yeoman of the other part WHITNESSETH that the said John
Earle of Bridgewater John Burrington and John Garland
for and in consideration of the sum of five shillings of
good and lawful money of England paid to the said John
Earle of Bridgewater John Burrington and John Garland in
hand paid by the said Patrick Bunt at and before the
sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged HAVE bargained and sold
and by ? to bargain and sell but of said Patrick Bunt
his executors administrators and assigns ALL? ? eight
part of the sayd messuage and tenement called and
commonly known by the name of Old Cardinham situate
lying and being in the said Parish of Cardinham And all
