Return to Calstock Parish Page Will of Stephen Williams dated 8 March 1740In the Name of God Amen I Stephen Williams of the parrish of Calstock in the County of Cornwall Tinner being aged but of sound and perfect mind and memory thanks be to God for itt, doe make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament in manner and Form following First I bequeath my soul to God that Gave it hoping by the merritoryous death and Passion of Jesus Christ my Lord and Saviour to have a Gloryous Inherritance with him in Heaven and my Body I Commend to Christian Buryall when itt shall please God to take my Soul out of itt at the discretion of my Executrix hereafter named and as for such Worldly Goods and Estate as the Lord hath binn pleased to bestow on me I Give devise and Bequeath as hereinafter mentioned and directed Imprimes I Give devise and Bequeath unto Catherin my well Beloved wife al my Dutchey Lands which John Hunn? of the aforesaid parrish of Calstock dyed tennent for according to the Custom of the manner with all the appurtene. thereunto Belonging Item I Give and Bequeath unto my Grandson Stephen Webster my Stampin Mill with the appurtenances Item I Give unto Cathern, Elizabeth and Mageritt my three daughters one shilling apiece to each of them to be paid by my Executrix item Lastly all my Lands Goods Chattels and Credebts that I am possessed of (or shall be possessed of) (insertion) at the time of my decease that is not herein formerly given or bequeathed I Give devise and Bequeath unto the abovesaid Cathern my well beloved wife to hold to her her heires and assignes for ever according to the Custom of the manner of Calstock aforesaid and I do hereby make Constitute and appoint my said wife to be whole and sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament upon Condition that she pay all my debts and Legazeys and I do hereby revoke all former Wills by me heretofor made Ether by word or writing In Wittness whereof I Have hereunto sett my Hand and Seal the Eight day of March In the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Forty 1740

Williams Deced. Was Proved in common Forme before the Reverend Mr
William Waddon Clk. Mtr. Of Arts Official etc. the 22d. Jany. 1747, and
admion of the Goods etc. of the Said deced. Was Granted to the Executrix
therein named (being first Sworne etc.) Saveing etc. John Bennett N.B. Words in both italics and brackets
