Will of John Jane dated 9 January 1747

In the Name of God Amen I John Jane of the Parish of Calstock in the County of Cornwall yeoman do make ordain and declare this to be my last Will and Testamt. in manner and Form following.
First of all I Give and Bequeath unto my Dear wife Grace Jane all my Household Goods and furniture except my Great Brass Crock, Table Boards, Bed Steads, wooden vessels and Cask which last mentioned Goods she shall have the use of for her life only and after her decease my mind and Will is that the same be Given to my Son John Jane if living, if not to his Heires, But the Great Brass Crock I order and direct my said son John to Give and deliver to my Grandson John Jane when he attains the age of Twenty one years.
I also Give and Bequeath to my son Sam Jane the sum of Thirty three Pounds, one half to be paid at the end of Four years after my Decease, the Remaining part in Six years after my Decease.
I also Give and Bequeath all the Lands I an Tenant for, to my son John Jane according to the Custom of the Mannor o Calstock. All my other Lands, Tenemts. and Hereditaments Goods and Chattels after paying the Legacies aforesaid Together with my Debts I Give and Bequeath to my Dear and Loving wife aforesd. whom I Constitute and appoint the whole and Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament. In Witness whereof I have here unto sett my Hand and Seal this 9th day of Janry. 1747

The within written Will of the within named John Jane was Proved in common Forme the 2nd Day of February 1747 Before the Reverend Mr. William Waddon Clk. Mr. of Arts Official etc. and admion of the Goods etc. of the said Deceased and of all things howsoever concerning his said Will was Granted to the Executrixtherein named (being first Sworne by virtue of a Commission) Saveing etc. Sum total of the Inventy. Exhibited £27:6s:0d
