Will of John Friendship dated 7 September 1748

In the Name of God Amen I John Friendship of the Parish of Calstock in the County of Cornwall yeom: the Elder Do make Ordain and appoint this to be my last Will  and Testamt. in manner & form following that is to say First of all I Give and Bequeath to my son Adam Friendship the sum of Six pounds. I Also Give and Bequeath unto my Daughter Elizabeth Congdon the sum of Six pounds.
I Also Give and Bequeath unto my Grandson John Lang all my wearing apparel and Ten Shillings in money.
Now my mind and will is that all the above Legacies be paid within Six months of my decease.
I Give and Bequeath all the Rest of my Goods and Chattels unto my Eldest Son John Friendship whom I make and appoint Executor of this my last Will & Testamt. In Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my Hand & Seal this 7th. Day of Sept. 1748.

The within written will of the within named John Friendship deed was proved in Common form the 3d. day of May 1749 Before the Revd. Mr. William Waddon Clk. Master of Arts Official etc. and admion of the Goods etc. of the deced. and of all things howsoever Concerning the sd. Will was Granted to the Execr. therein named being first Sworn etc. Saveing etc.
