Return to Callington Parish Page Will of Robert Manaton dated 18 January 1737In the Name of God Amen I Robart Manatan of the Parish of Callington in the County of Cornwall Yeoman do make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form as followeth first I Bequeath my Soul to Almighty God and my Body to Christian Buryall Imprimis I Give and Bequeath to Joane the Datter of my Sister Peternell Manaton now the Wife of George Hitchins now living in Thuepath in this parish all my Right Title & Interest in my Estate in Thuepath wherein I now live dewering her Natural lief one paying my Brother in law John Blith of Callington ten pounds Lawfull Money of England which I owe him on my Note of hand with lawfull interest for the same to the time of payment as shall then appear to be due and all other my Just Debts that I may happen to owe at the time of my Death. Item I Give to my Sister Cateren Brith Ten Shillings Anom? to be hand paid her out of my said Estate at Thupath duering her Natural lief if my Right shall so long continue. Item I Give to my Brother in law Robert Bond of St Dommonick One Shilling of Lawfull Money of England to be paid him within one Month after my Death by my Executrix hereafter mentioned Item my will and mind is if the above said George Hitchins shall happen to survive his said Wife Joane Hitchins then I Give and Bequeath all my Right Title and Interest Joyntly to him and his son Robart Hitchins dureing the then remainder of my lease for the same on their paying my Brother in law the Ten Pounds and interest as aforesaid with the Legacyes within six weeks after my Death. Item I make Ordain Constitute and Appoint the said Joane Hitchins my Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament revokeing all others made by me to whom I Give and Bequeath all other my Goods and Chattells whatsoever and wheresoever to her own Use Bennifit and Behove which I also charge with the payment of my Debts and Legacyes in manner and form as aforesaid. In Witness whereof I have hereunto Sett my hand and Seal this Eighteenth Day of January in the year of our Lord God One Thousand Seven Hundred and thirty seven.
The before written Will was proved in Common Form
Before the Reverend Mr William Waddon Clerk Mr of Arts Official on the
3rd April 1747 and Admion of the Goods etc. of the Deed & of all things
howsoever concerning the said Will was Granted to the Executrix therein
named (being first sworne etc.) saveing etc. John Bennett | ||||||
