The last Will and Testament of Peter Wallis late of the Parish of Saint Buryan Yeoman Deceased proved in Common form the 12th. day of June 1848 before the Reverend George Henry Farr Clerk Surrogate and administration of the Goods of the said Deceased and of all things whatsoever concerning his said Will was granted to John Wallis of the said Parish of Saint Buryan Yeoman a Son of the said Deceased and Executor named in the said Will
Savings &c.

This is the Last Will and Testament of me Peter Wallis of the Village of Trelodaves in the Parish of St. Buryan in the County of Cornwall Yeoman
 
I give devise and bequeath unto my Wife Catharine one Annuity Clear yearly the sum of £20 Sterling quarterly at the four most usual quarter days of payments of rents in the year Ten Pounds to be paid by my Son John Wallis And ten Pounds to be Paid by my Son James out of their estats namely Trevurgans and Trelodaves during the term of her natural life.
I allso give to My Wife Catharine a bed and beding of her own chois and one chamber and access through the house as her necessitys requirs.
I allso give unto my son John the estates of Trevurgans allso the sum of one Thousand pounds Sterling never the less subject to the payment of ten pound yearly to the said Catharine Wallis.
I allso give to my son James the estate at Trelodaves and all the stock which I shall shall leave thearon & all the implements of farming And that part of the household furniture as shall be left after my Wife Catharine and my Daughter Elizabeth have taken their Part.

And allso the Sum of £200 to be paid him Within one Month after My Decease but Shou’d the said James Wallis die Leaving no children or child Legitimately begoten the said estate Shall be given to My son John his hairs and assigns for ever.
Allso I give unto my daughter Elizth Wallis the Sum of five hundred Pounds Sterling to be Paid her Within Six Months after My deceas but the Said Elizth Wallis is to have the Six Months intrest and in case my said daughter Should not be marred She is to have her own Chamber and the bed & Beding and all the furniture in the said chamber With free access to the Kitchen fire.
The bed and beding Which I give to My Wife is to be Left for My Son James after her decease.
I allso give to Eliza Rogers the Sum of five Pounds to be Paid at My deceas. I hereby appoint my said son John Executor of this My Last Will and Testament hearby revoking All former and other Will and Wills by me at any time heretofore made In Witness whereof I have to this my Last Will and Testament Set My hand and affixed My seal, This Seventeenth Day of December 1844

Special Affidavit of William Jelbart one of the subscribed Witnesses to the Will of Peter Wallis late of the parish of Saint Buryan Yeoman deceased as to its one Execution.

In the Deanery Court of St. Buryan
In the Goods etc of Peter Wallis late of the Parish of St. Buryan in the County of Cornwall, Yeoman.
 
Appeared personally William Jelbart of the said Parish of St. Buryan Carpenter and made oath that he is one of the subscribed Witnesses to the last Will and Testament of Peter Wallis late of the Parish of St. Buryan aforesaid yeoman deceased now hereunto annexed the Said Will beginning thus “This is the last Will and Testament of me Peter Wallis of the Village of Trelodaves in the parish of St. Buryan in the County of Cornwall yeoman” ending thus “In Witness whereof I have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand and affixed my seal this seventeenth day of December 1844” and thus subscribed ‘Peter Wallis’ but to which Will no such Seal as above intimated is affixed. And this Deponent and William Hosken, Theophilus Jelbart and Elizabeth Jelbart the other subscribed Witnesses were present at the same time when the said deceased on the said seventeenth Day of December One Thousand and Eight hundred and forty seven subscribed his name at the foot or end of the said Will and this Deponent and the said William Hosken Theophilus Jelbart and Elizabeth Jelbart subscribed their names in the presence of the said Testator and of each other as Witnesses thereof.
