Will of Elizabeth Wallis, proved 7 August 1823

The last Will & Testament of Elizabeth Wallis late of St. Burian Widow decsd, proved in common form before the Revd Uriah Tonkin, Surrogate
And Adion to the Goods etc of the said deceased & of all things whatsoever concerning her said Will was granted to Joseph Wallis & George Wallis, the sons of the said decsd, & Executors named in her said Will; the said George having attained his full age of 21 years

Glory be to God Amen I Elizabeth Wallis of the Parish of St Buryan in the County of Cornwall Widow, do make and ordain this to be my last Will and Testament.
I Give and bequeath unto my Son George Wallis my Dwelling House and Shop with all the appurtenances thereto belonging Situate in St Buryan Church Town and County aforesaid.
 
Also I give unto my Son George Wallis the sum of Twenty Pounds.
 
Also I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Elizabeth Tremewan all my Wearing apparel and the Sum of Ten pounds to be by her received three months after my decease.
 
Also I give and bequeath unto my Grand-daughter Elizabeth Ann Tremewan the sum of Twenty Pounds to be by her received when she shall attain the age of sixteen years.
 
Also I Give and bequeath unto my Grand daughter Rebekah Williams Tremewan the sum of Twenty Pounds to be by her received when she shall attain the age of sixteen years.
 
Also I Give devise and bequeath unto my Sons Joseph and George Wallis’s All the rest residue and remainder of all my Goods Chattles Estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever and of what kindsoever as well real as Personal not herein before by me given devised or bequeathed. And I do hereby make nominate and appoint my Brother in law James Wallis and my Daughter Elizabeth Tremewan to be Executor and Executrix of this my last Will and Testament during the minority of my said Son George Wallis and as soon as he shall attain his full age of twenty one years, I do make and ordain my Sons Joseph and George Wallis’s to be sole Executors of this my last Will and Testament.
 
And I hereby impower my Said Brother in Law James Wallis and my Daughter Elizabeth Tremewan and the survivor of them to be supervisors Executor and Executrix in trust of this my will during the minority of my said Son George Wallis, and it is my Will that the aforesaid Executor and Executrix shall be allowed all reasonable charges and expences in and about the execution of the Trust hereby committed unto them out of my Effects which shall come to their hands.
 
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal the first day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty two

Signed Sealed Published and Declared by the Testatrix Elizabeth Wallis as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other have Subscribed our names as Witnesses hereto
