Will of Pee Permewan, proved 12 June 1843

12th. June 1843.
The last Will and Testament of Pee Permewan late of the Parish of St. Buryan Spinster deceased proven in Common form before the Revd. Charles Jenkyns Clerk Surrogate; and Administration of the Goods &c of the said Deceased and of all things concerning her said Will was granted to Margaret Permewan the Mother and sole Executrix named in the Will of the said Deceased.

This is the last Will and Testament of me Pee Permewan of the parish of St.Buryan in the County of Cornwall Spinster made this nineteenth day of January in the year of our Lord One Thousand eight hundred and forty three.
I give and bequeath to my dear Mother the sum of One hundred pounds out of which I direct she shall pay all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses and the expenses of establishing this my Will. Also I give and bequeath to my Cousins James Permewan and John Permewan the sum of Four hundred and fifty pounds upon trust as to two hundred and fifty pounds part thereof to lay out and invest the same in some approved Security and to pay the interest and income arising therefrom to my Sister Elizabeth now the wife of Mr. William Osborne and her assigns during her natural life independent of and without the control of her present or any future Husband. And I declare that her or their receipts for such interest and income shall be good and effectual discharges to the persons paying the same. And as to the remaining two hundred pounds other part of the said sum of four hundred and fifty pounds upon trust to pay the interest and income thereof to my said dear Mother and her assigns for her natural life. And from and immediately after the decease of my said Sister Elizabeth upon trust as to the sum of one hundred and fifty pounds part of the said sum of two hundred and fifty pounds hereby settled for her use to pay and divide the same to and among the children of my said Sister

Mary now the wife of Mr. John Chenhalls share and share alike. And as to the sum of one hundred pounds residue of the said sum of two hundred and fifty pounds upon trust to pay and divide the same to and between the two daughters of my Sister Margaret Chenhalls in equal shares. And from and after the decease of my said Mother I give and bequeath the sum of fifty pounds part of the said sum of two hundred pounds hereby bequeathed for her use unto my Brother Richard absolutely. And as to the sum of one hundred and fifty pounds residue of the said sum of two hundred pounds I hereby direct and declare that the same shall remain upon trust to pay the interest and income thereof to my Sister Jane now the Wife of Mr. Charles Osborne during her natural life independent of and without the control of her present or any future Husband and I declare that her receipts alone for such interest and income shall be good and effectual discharges to the persons paying the same. And from and immediately after the decease of my said Sister Jane upon trust to pay and divide the same sum of one hundred and fifty pounds to and among the children of my Brother John in equal shares. Also I give and bequeath all my wearing apparel saving such part or parts thereof as my said Mother may wish to retain for herself unto my said Sister Elizabeth. effects I give to my said Mother whom I hereby appoint whole and sole Executrix of this my Will hereby revoking all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand the day and year first above written.
