The last Will and Testament of John Jenkin late of the Parish of Saint Buryan yeoman deceased proved in Common form Before the Reverend George Pigott Clerk Surrogate
And Administration to the Goods of the said Deceased and of all things whatsoever concerning his said will was granted to John Williams a son-in-law of the said Deceased and sole Executor named in his said Will

In the Name of God Amen. I John Jenkin of Treave in the Parish of Buryan in the County of Cornwall Yeoman being thanks to God of sound and disposing mind and memory do make this my last Will and Testament. Revoking all other Will or Wills by me heretofore made. First I recommend and resign my Soul to its Creator in full and lively hopes through the merits and Mediation of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to receive remission of all my sins and my body to the Earth to be decently interred at the discretion of my son in law John Williams.
First my Will is that my Just debts, funeral, and testamentary expences be paid by my said son in Law John Williams as herein after mentioned.
I give and bequeath unto my old Servant Ann Ellis one Annuity of Four Pounds per annum so long as she, and George Bosustow (son of William Bosustow of Lelant) shall both live to be paid her in Quarterly payments. The first payment to commence and be made at the end of three months next after my decease. The aforesaid Annuity to be issuing and payable out of all my part of the tenement of treave situate the sow west side of the lane.
I give devise and be unto Edward Jenkin of Treave all my part of the Tenement of Treave called or known by the name of Treave Vean (except the middle dwelling House and garden belonging thereto and the meeting house which I give and bequeath unto my Son in Law John Williams) But the aforesaid part of the Tenement of Treave called or known by the name of Treave Vean shall stand charged with the payment of one eighth part of the Rent that shall become due to William Bosustow or his Heirs from time to time and one eighth part of the tithe and one eighth part of the taxes through in and through-out of the whole of my part of the Tenement of Treave situate in the parish of Buryan.
I give devise and bequeath unto John Jenkin (eldest son of Edward Jenkin of Treave) all my part of the Tenement of Treave aforesaid situate the Sow West side of the lane and the house in which his father Edward Jenkin now lives, and one half of the Barn and one half of the Mowhay. But charged with the payment of the aforesaid Annuity to my old servant Ann Ellis as aforesaid, and charged with the payment of one half of all my Just debts, and with the payment of three eighths of the Rent that shall become due to William Bosustow aforesaid from time to time and three eighths of the Tithe, and three eighths of the rates and Taxes through in and through-out on the whole of my part of the Tenement of Treave aforesaid. And also charged with the payment of one half of the expences of keeping the Barn and Mowhay aforesaid in good and tenantable repair. And the aforesaid John Jenkin shall pay one half of my funeral and Testamentary expences.
 
All the rest residue and remainder of my personal and testamentary Estate whatsoever and wheresoever or of what nature or kind so ever not herein before by me given or devised, I do hereby Give devise and bequeath unto my Son in Law John Williams, Whom I appoint Whole and Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament. In Witness whereof I the said John Jenkin the Testator have hereto set my name and affixed my Seal this nineteenth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty.
