4th.October 1832.
The last Will and Testament of Charles Jacka late of the Parish of Saint
Buryan Yeoman deceased & proved in Common form before the Reverend Uriah
Tonkin Clerk surrogate and Administration of the Goods &c of the said
Deceased and of all things concerning his said Will was granted to
Charles Jacka Son of the said Deceased and Sole Executor named in the
said Will -

This is the Last Will and Testament of me Charles Jacka of Mill and
ponds Within the parish of Saint Buryan in the County of Cornwall,
Yeoman.
First I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary The Wife of Henry Tonkin
one Annuity of Four pounds of lawful money Current in Great Britain
yearly during her natural life out of my Leasehold Estate Called Mill
and ponds in the parish of Saint Buryan, to be paid her by my Executor
hereinafter named by Four Quarterly payments the first quarterly payment
of the said Annuity to be made on the first usual quarter days of
payment as shall next happen after my death and during the natural life
of my Wife, and after my Wife’s death then I give her one other Annuity
of one pound yearly during her natural life in addition to the before
mentioned Annuity of four pounds yearly during her natural life
Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Grace the wife of William
Prowse one Annuity of Five pounds yearly during her natural life out of
my said Leasehold Estate by four quarterly payments, the first quarter
payment of the said Annuity to be made on the first usual quarter days
of payment as shall next happen after my death and during the Natural
life of my wife, and after my wife’s death, then I give her one Other
Annuity of Two pounds yearly during her natural life in addition to the
before mentioned Annuity of Five pounds yearly during her natural life,
to be paid her by my Executor hereinafter named. Also I give her my Bed
and Bedding which I Usually lie on.
Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Jane Jacka one Annuity of Five
pounds yearly, during her natural life out of my said leasehold Estate
by four Quarterly payments, the first Quarterly payment of the said
Annuity to be made on the first usual quarter days of payment as shall
next happen after my death, and during the natural life of my wife, and
after my wife’s death then I give her one Other Annuity of Two pounds in
addition to the before mentioned Annuity of Five pounds yearly during
her natural life, to be paid her by my Executor hereinafter named. Also
I give her the Use of the now my dwelling house for to live in and goods
for her use so long as she shall remain single and live with her mother.
Now my will and meaning is that if she should live single and Unmarried
till her mother’s death I give her then the now my household Furniture,
and the now my dwelling house, so long as she shall live or if the lease
should remain so long.
Also I give and bequeath unto my Grandson Charles Tonkin of the parish
of Madron one Annuity of one pound yearly during the natural life of his
Grandmother, my wife, and after her death one other Annuity of one pound
yearly during his natural life out of my said leasehold Estate by four
Quarterly payments, the first quarterly payment to be made on the first
usual quarter days of payment as shall next happen after my death.
Also I give and bequeath to William Semmons the Son of Anne Trembath of
the parish of Une Lelant one Annuity of Three pounds yearly during his
natural life out of my said Leasehold Estate by four quarterly payments,
the first quarterly payment to be made on the first usual quarter days
of payment as shall next happen after my death, now my will and meaning
is that if either one of the parts of my Leasehold Estates should fall
into the Lord’s hand, then the said Legatees is to reduce their several
Annuities in proportion.
Also I give and bequeath unto my dear wife Jane Jacka one Annuity of Ten
pounds yearly during her natural life out of my said lease hold Estate
by my Executor herein after named and the use of my dwelling house in
the which I now live in and the household furniture for her use so long
as she live and dwell in the said house and if she should not like to
live in the said dwelling Then I give her the one half of the Rent of
the said house in addition to the aforesaid Annuity of Ten pounds yearly
to be paid her by my Executor by Four Quarterly
Payments, the first Quarterly payment to be made on the first usual
quarter days of payment as shall next happen after my death, now my will
and meaning is that if she should not live in the said dwelling house,
she shall live with one of her daughters

whom she should choose to live with but not to Carry of any of the
household furniture with her but they are to Remain in the said dwelling
house till her death, and then to my Daughter Jane Jacka as is mentioned
before.
Also I give and bequeath unto my son Charles Jacka all that my Freehold
house situate in Trevorgans in the parish of Saint Buryan with the
appurtenances of the same and to his heirs or Issue for ever, but if he
should die and leave no heir or Issue, lawfully begotten, then I give
the said house unto my Three daughters Mary Tonkin, Grace Prowse, and
Jane Jacka for their natural life, Jointly, and their heirs or Issues
Jointly for Ever.
Lastly I give and bequeath unto my son Charles Jacka all that my
leasehold Estate, Situate and Called Mill and ponds with the
Appurtenances thereunto belonging, in the said parish of Saint Buryan,
Subject Nevertheless to the payment of the Several Annuities, my Just
Debts, and Funeral Charges, and the Funeral Charges of my dear wife, his
mother, and to the proving of this my last Will, all the Rest Residue
and Remainder of my personal Estates and Effects whatsoever and what
kind soever I give to my said son Charles Jacka, Whom I do Constitute,
name and appoint to be the whole and sole Executor of this my last will
and Testament. Hereby Revoking all former will and Wills by me at any
time heretofore made and declare this and no other to be my last Will
and Testament. In Witness whereof I have to this my last Will Contained
in Two sheets of paper to the first sheet hereof I have set my hand and
to the second and last sheet have set my hand and Affixed my seal the
Third day of May in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and
Thirtyone.

Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us
and who at his Request in his presence and in the presence of each other
