Deanery of Saint Buryan
27th. August 1845.
The last Will and Testament of William Hosken late of the Parish of
Saint Buryan farmer deceased proved in Common form before the Reverend
Charles Jenkyns Clerk Surrogate.
And Administration to the Goods of the said Deceased and of all things
whatsoever concerning his said Will was granted to Elizabeth Hosken the
widow of the said Deceased and sole Executrix named in his said Will.

This is the last Will and Testament of me William Hosken of Trevorian
within the Parish of St. Buryan in the County of Cornwall Farmer.
First I give and bequeath unto my dear wife Elizabeth Hosken the Bed and
bedding that I usually sleep on, also one Table and six chairs and also
I empower her with the Management of my property for the benefit of my
Children, so long as she remains single and unmarried, but if she should
Marry, then to have no power over my property nor to have anything more
than that which was given her before, my will and meaning is that my
dear Wife should keep house that all our Children should have a home as
long as they shall remain single, also if my son William Hosken Marry or
leave the family I empower my Dear wife Elizabeth Hosken and my
Brotherinlaw Thomas Warren to give unto my son William Hosken out of my
Effects what they should think right and reasonable for him to have.
Lastly All the Rest Residue and Remainder of my Goods and Chattles,
Farming Stock, and all other my Personal Estate and Effects whatsoever /
subject to the payment of my Just Debts and funeral Expences I give unto
my dear Wife Elizabeth Hosken whom I do Constitute, name and appoint to
be the Whole and sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament
Hereby revoking all former Wills.
In Witness hereof I have to this my last will and Testament set my hand
and Seal this Ninth day of July in the Year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and Fourtyfour.
