4th. July 1839
The last Will and Testament of Thomas Gwennap late of the Parish of
Saint Buryan Farmer deceased proved in Common form before the Reverend
Charles Jenkyns Clerk Surrogate.
And Administration to the Goods of the said deceased and of all things
whatsoever concerning his said Will was granted to James Permewan and
Charles Edmonds the Executors in Will therein named and described
Saving &c.

This is the last Will and Testament of me Thomas Gwennap of Tregurno in
Saint Buryan in the County of Cornwall Farmer
I give and bequeath all my live and dead Farming Stock and Implements my
household Goods and Furniture all debts due and owing to me and all
other my Goods Chattels rights Credits and Effects of what nature or
kind soever an wheresoever situate unto James Permewen the elder of
Tregadgwith in the said parish of Saint Buryan Esquire and Charles
Edmonds of Borah in the same parish Farmer To hold the same unto the
said James Permewan and Charles Edmonds and the Survivor of them and
Executors administrators and Assigns of such Survivor upon the Trusts
hereinafter mentioned that is to say upon Trust in the first place to
sell and dispose of

such parts or portions thereof respectively as to them the said James
Permewan and Charles Edmonds with the convenience of my wife Mary
Gwennap shall soever want and thereout to pay and discharge all my just
costs and Funeral and Testamentary expenses And in the next place shall
pay over and deliver the residue thereof unto my said wife Mary Gwennap
And I direct that the same and every part thereof shall be had and
enjoyed by my said wife for the sole use benefit and behoof of herself
and Child absolutely and for ever
And I appoint the said James Permewan and Thomas Edmonds Executors in
trust of this my Will hereby revoking all and every former will or wills
by me herebefore made and ratifying and confirming this as my last will
and testament In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed
my Seal this Eighteenth day of May one thousand Eight hundred and thirty
seven
