The last Will & Testament of John Berryman late of the Parish of St Burian Farmer deced proved in common form before the Revd. Uriah Tonkin Surrogate -
And Admon of the Goods etc. of the said Decsd. of all &c granted to Margaret Wife of John Berryman a Daughter of the said Decsd & Etrix named in his said Will

This is the last Will and Testament of me John Berryman of the parish of Saint Buryan in the County of Cornwall
 
I Give and Bequeath unto my dear Wife Margaret in addition to an Annuity of Fifteen pounds per annum already settled on her by a certain Indenture of Settlement bearing date on or about the twenty sixth day of November last and made between myself of the one part and Francis Paynter Gentleman and my Brother George of the other parts the Bed and Bedding thereto belonging now standing and being in the Parlour Chamber of the Dwelling House wherein I now reside the same to be delivered to her by my Executrix hereinafter named so soon as the same shall be demanded after my death.
I Give and Bequeath unto my Grandson John Son of my Son John Berryman the Sum of Twenty pounds of lawful English Money to be paid him by my said Executrix on his attaining his age of twenty one years
I give and Bequeath unto my said Son John Berryman and my Daughter Margaret All that my Leasehold Tenement and premises in or called Dorminack situate in the said parish of Saint Buryan now in the occupation of James Tonkin as Tenant thereof To hold the said Tenement and premises unto my said Son John Berryman and my Daughter Margaret and to their several Executors Administrators and Assignes from and immediately after my Death for and during all the rest residue and remainder of the Term Estate and Interest which may be then therein to come and expect as Tenant in Common and not as joint Tenants Subject nevertheless to the payment of the aforesaid Annuity of Fifteen pounds to my said Wife during her life in case the Estate and Interest which I had of and in the Tenement of Alsia in the said parish of Saint Buryan at the time of the date and execution of the said Indenture of Settlement whereby the same is settled and charged as therein mentioned shall not so long continue and in such case I will that from and immediately after the

determination of such Estate and Interest in Alsia aforesaid that the same annuity of Fifteen pounds be payable out of the said Tenement of Dorminack if the Estate and Interest which I now have in the said lastmentioned Tenement shall so long continue and that the usual power of Distress in case of nonpayment of the said Annuity if the same shall eventually become payable out of Dorminack aforesaid be considered as contained in this my Will
 
Lastly all the rest residue and remainder of my Lands Tenements Goods Chattels Rights Credit and effects of what nature kind or sort so ever I shall be possessed of at the time of my death and not hereinbefore by me given bequeathed or disposed of I do hereby Give and Bequeath the same unto my said Daughter Margaret To hold the same to the said Margaret Berryman her Executors Administrators and Assigns from and immediately after my decease thenceforth for ever And I hereby make nominate constitute and appoint my said Daughter Margaret whole and sole Executrix and Residuary Legatee of this my last Will she paying the hereinbefore mentioned Legacy of Twenty pounds and all my just Debts and Funeral Expenses and providing for and allowing unto her Mother two Brothers and Sister a Suit of Mourning each, fit and proper for persons of their degree in life And I revoke all former and other will or wills by me at anytime heretofore made and declare this and no other to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have to this my Will contained on two Sheets of paper to the first sheet thereof have set my hand and to this second and last Sheet have set my hand and affixed my Seal this eighth day of April one thousand eight hundred and twenty six
