Know all men by these presents, That we THOMAS MILLER the elder, of the Borough of Falmouth in the County of Cornwall, Laborer and THOMAS MILLER the younger of Simmonward, otherwise Saint Brewer in the County aforesaid Farmer are held and firmly bound to FRANCIS GEACH, JOHN RENFREE, RUBEN WELCH, and JAMES THOMAS Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the Parish of Budock in the County aforesaid in the sum of Seventy two pounds and Sixteen shillings of Lawful Money of England to be paid to the said FRANCIS GEACH, JOHN RENFREE, RUBEN WELCH and JAMES THOMAS or their successors Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish for the time being or their certain Attorney or Assigns To which payment by us or either of us well and truly to be made We bind ourselves our Heirs Executors and Administrators and every of them firmly by these presents Sealed with our Seals, and dated the twenty sixth day of November in the Year of our Lord One Thousand eight hundred and fourteen.

The Condition of this Obligation is such That Whereas MARY WILLIAMS of the said Parish of Budock Widow is pregnant of a Base Child, whereof the said Thomas Miller the elder Hath been sworn Father, which child is likely to become chargeable to the said Parish. If therefore the said THOMAS MILLER the elder and THOMAS MILLER the younger their Heirs Executors or Administrators do and shall from time to time pay or cause to be paid unto the said FRANCIS GEACH, JOHN RENFREE, RUBEN WELCH and JAMES THOMAS and succeeding Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish the sum of Two shillings per week for and during the Term and time of Seven Years if the child to be born of the said Mary Williams shall so long happen to live. Then the above obligation to be void and of none effect, otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.
