JOHN SHEEPSHANKS Clerk Master of the
Arts of the Archdeaconry of Cornwall lawfully
constituted To owe beloved in the Christ Hugh Harry of
the Parish of Saint Mabyn in the County of Cornwall
Yeoman Whereas by Indenture bearing date the 5th day of
November 1750 made between John Treise of Blisland
Esquire of the first part John Pawley of the Parish of
Simonward in the said County Yeoman of the second part
and John Harry of the Parish of Saint Mabyn in the said
Couty Gentleman of the third part the said John Treise
by the direction of the said John Harvey assigned and
transferred unto the said John Cawley his Executors
Administrators and Assigns all and singular those to
Tenements situate lying and being in the said Parish of
Saint Mabyn in the village of Tregaddock commonly called
or known by the name of Tuckers Tenement and Phillps
Tenement and every part and parcel thereof part and
parcel thereof with their appurtenances and all other
the lands of the said John Harry within the said Parish
of Saint Mabyn TO HOLD the same unto the said John
Crawley his Executors Administrators and Assigns for the
residue of a certain Term of 1000 years executed by an
Indenture bearing date the 26th day of December 1733
then to come and unexpired In Trust for the said John
Harry his Heirs and Assigns and to intend the
Inheritance of the said premises AND WHEREAS by diverse
mesne correspondence devises and other good and
sufficient assurances in the Law John Kempe of the
Borough of Fowey Clerk and William Cole of Boscastle
Gentleman are now become entitled to the freehold and
inheritance of the said premises and have also the sole
and equitable right title and interest to the now
residue of the said term And whereas it has been alleged
on the part of the said John Kempe and William Cole that
the said John Pawley died intestate and without making
any Assignment of the said premises or the then residue
of the said term of 1000 years and no Letters of
Administration of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the
said John Pawley deceased may be committed and granted
and thereof the said John Kempe and William Cole are
unable to make a complete legal title to the said
premises for want of a personal representative of the
said John Pawley deceased and Whereas the said John
Kempe and William Cole are desirous that Letters of
Administration of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the
said John Pawley deceased may be committed and granted
to the above named Hugh Harry limited only for the
purpose of assessing the residue and remainder of the
said Term of 1000 years so aforesaid vested in the said
John Pawley deceased to the same person or persons In
Trust to attend upon the reversion freehold and
inheritance of the said premises for the purpose of
protecting the same from mesne incumbrances We do
therefore by these presents grant full power and
authority to you the said Hugh Harry a person named by
and on part and behalf of the said John Kempe and
William Cole and in whose fidelity we confide to
administer and faithfully dispose of the Goods Chattels
and Credits of the said John Pawley deceased limited so
far as concerns all the right title and inheritance of
herein the said John Pawley deceased in and to all those
tenements and premises hereinbefore and in the said part
recited Indenture of the 5th day of November 1750 more
particularly described and the residue and remainder of
the said term of 1000 years therein now to come and
unexpired and all benefit and advantage to be had
received and taken there from but no further or
otherwise or in any other manner whatsoever you being
first sworn upon the Holy Evangelist well and faithfully
to administer the same and to make a true and perfect
Inventory of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said
John Pawley deceased limited as aforesaid and to be
hereunto lawfully required And We do by virtue of these
presents ordain constitute and appoint you the said Hugh
Harry Administrator of the Goods Chattels and Credits of
the sauid John Pawley deceased limited so far as
concerns all the right tile and inheritance of him the
said John Pawley deceased in and to all and singular the
said Tenements and premises with the appurtenances
hereinbefore particularly mentioned and described and
the residue and remainder of the said term of 1000 years
therein granted aforesaid and now to come and unexpired
and all benefit and advantage to be had received and
taken there from but no further or otherwise or any
other manner whatsoever saving nevertheless the right of
every other person given under the seal of our Office
the 28th day of September in the year of Our Lord 1863
