In the Principal Registry of the Lord Bishop of Exeter.
In the Goods of William Goss deceased.
 
Appeared Personally Nancy Kestle (wife of Richard Kestle of the Parish of Withiel in the County of Cornwall Farmer) the daughter and the Sole EXECUTRIX named in the last Will and Testament of William Goss formerly of Lanivet in the County of Cornwall, but late of Saint Breock in the same County Labourer deceased, and made Oath that the said deceased died on the twenty eighth day of December 1848; that she hath made diligent search and due inquiry after, and in respect of the Personal Estate and Effects of the said Deceased, in order to ascertain the full Amount and Value thereof; and that to the best of her knowledge, information, and belief, the whole of the Goods, Chattels, and Credits of which the said deceased died possessed within the DIOCESE OF EXETER, exclusive of what the deceased may have been possessed of or entitled to as a Trustee for any other Person or Persons, and not beneficially,

(A) but including the LEASEHOLD ESTATE OR ESTATES for Years of the Deceased, as well absolute as determinable on Lives, and without deducting any thing on account of the Debts due and owing from the Deceased, are under the Value of One hundred Pounds to the best of the Deponents knowledge, information, and belief.

The last Will and Testament of William Goss of the parish of Lanivet Labourer made this twenty eighth day of September one thousand eight hundred and forty seven. I do hereby give to my son John Goss the sum of Five pounds clear of any Legacy duty to be paid to him by my Executrix six months after my decease. I also give and bequeath all the rest residue and remainder of my property consisting of a Leasehold Tenement in Lanivet Household furniture or any other effects that I may be seized or possessed of at the time of my decease unto my Daughter Nancy the Wife of Richard Kestle and I do hereby constitute and appoint my said Daughter Nancy Kestle to be the sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament.

Proved 11th January 1849 in the Principal Registry of the Lord Bishop of Exeter by Nancy Kestle (wife of Richard Kestle) the Executrix. Testator died 28th December 1848. Effects sworn under £100.
