IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN the 28th of May 1772 J John Buscomb of the Parish of St Breock in the County of Cornwall Yeoman being of perfect memory thanks be to God for the same Do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament First of all I recommend my soul into the Hand of God that gave it, hoping that thro’ the merets and interereestion of my Saviour Jesus Christ to receive free parden and forgiveness for all my sins, and for my body I recommend to the earth to be buried in a Christian like and decent manner at the discretion of my executor hereafter named . Imprimes I give unto my daughter Elizabeth One Guinea Item I give unto my grandson James Brabyn one yow and lamb Item I give unto my daughter Jane the sum of £50, and to be paid two years after my decease I also give her one bed furnished that She lyeth on, and I give her the six tea cups or china dishes that standeth upon drawers Item I give unto my granddaughter Jane Brabyn £10 to be paid her when she comes to 21 years of age Item I give unto Petter Reswill One Guinea Item I give unto his children £10 a piece to each of them and to be paid them when them comes to 21 years of age Item I give unto Richard Guy the sum of £40 and to be paid three years after my decease Imprines I give devise and bequeath all my lands and tenements in Tregunna Penquean and Tresineck unto my son John and his heirs forever Imprunes I give devise and bequeath unto my son Samson all that tenement in Bodelick – I also give devise and bequeath unto my son Samson all that tenement of land in Penhale called by the name of Wattses Tenement that is the Parkes the gurn and manels with all the houses the hier and the town belonging to the same and the garden at the town gate together with the Wett Close, Short Hedge , Moorclose and Long Close and the meadow at Certhew Corner I give unto him I also give unto my son Sampson the Down Park that joineth with the Long Close and his heirs forever being part of what I bought of Mr Angove and I likewise give him the Down Park up at Carthew called by the name of Noble Close and to his heirs forever Imprimes I give devise and bequeath all that tenement of land in Penhale which I bought of Mr Angove , except the two Downparks which I give unto my son Samsom I give unto my son John and his heirs for ever and if he dyeth without being married that then it shall come to Samson and his heirs forever I also give unto Samson one third part of the stock that is upon the estate such as bullocks horses and sheep and one butt wene and Whillis and tackle belonging to the same and if that John doth resume and go to Tregunna to dwell I give the Little Tenement we now live in to S Samson and his heirs forever that is the house and the three meadows and all the rest of my goods I give unto JOHN whom I make and ordaine to be my whole executor of this my last will and testament IN WITNESS whereof I have set my hand and seal the day and year above written Anno Dom1772
