Settlement Paper for Francis Truscott & Family, dated 23 April 1728
 

To the Churchwardens & Overseers of ye Parish of St Breock
 
We whose Names are hereunto Subscribed Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St Stephens in Brannell in the County of Cornwall do Certify that Francis Truscott Tinner the bearer hereof is an Inhabitant Legally Settled in our said Parish of St Stephens and we do hereby oblige our Selves & Successors to receive the said Francis Truscott and his family whenever he shall become chargeable to the parish of St Breock aforesaid by Impotency, Casualty, Sickness or other wise to which said Parish of St Breock the said Francis Truscott is desirous to remove for his better Support and Employment.
In Witness whereof we have hereunto sett our hands and seals this three & twentieth day of April Anno Domini 1728
