To witt
To the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St Breock and to each and every of you to Remove and to convey. As also to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St Tuddy in the County of Cornwall These

Whereas Complaint has been made by you the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St Breock aforesaid unto Us whose Hands and Seals are hereunto set, two of His Majesty’s Justices of the Peace (One being of the Quorum) for the said County of Cornwall That Richard Olver and Mary his Wife lately intruded themselves into your said Parish of St Breock there to inhabit as Parishioners contrary to the Laws relating to the Settlement of the Poor, and are likely to become Chargeable there And whereas upon due Examination and Enquiry made into the Premises by Us the said Justices, and on the Oath of the said Richard Olver it appears unto us, and we accordingly adjudge, that the said Richard Olver and Mary his Wife are likely to be Chargeable and that their last legal place of Settlement was in the said Parish of St Tuddy where they ought to be Removed, as the Law in that Case directs.
These are therefore in His Majesty’s Name to Order and Require you the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St Breock aforesaid, that you, or some of you, do Forthwith Remove and Convey the said Richard Olver and Mary his Wife from your said Parish of St Breock to the Parish of St Tuddy aforesaid, and them deliver to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or some one of them together with this our Order or a true Copy hereof; whereby they are likewise Required in His Majesty’s Name, and by Virtue of the Statutes in such Case made, Forthwith to Receive the said Richard Olver and Mary his Wife into your said Parish of St Tuddy and provide for them as their own Parishioners according to Law. Given under our Hands and Seals, the eighteenth Day of January in the Thirty second Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the second by the Grace of God of Great Britain, France, and Ireland, King, and so forth, and in the Year of our Lord, One thousand, Seven Hundred, and Fifty Nine

Cornwall To wit. We The Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St Tudy in the County of Cornwall aforesaid, do hereby own and acknowledge That Richard Olver Labourer and Mary his Wife to be Inhabitants legally settled in the Parish of St Tudy aforesaid. In Witness whereof we have hereunto set our Hands and Seals this fifteenth Day of February in the 32nd. Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second by the Grace of GOD of Great Britain, France and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith; and in the Year of our Lord 1759

To the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St Breock in the County of Cornwall or to any or either of them
We whose Names are hereunto subscribed, two of his Majesty’s Justices of the Peace for the County of Cornwall aforesaid, do allow of the above-written Certificate. And we do also certify, That Samuel Davey & John Enis the Witness who attested the Execution of the said Certificate, hath made Oath before us, that they did see the Church-wardens and Overseers, whose Names and Seals are to the said Certificate subscribed and set, severally sign and seal the said Certificate, and that the Names of the said Samuel Davey & John Enis whose Names are subscribed as Witnesses to the Execution of the said Certificate, are of their own proper Hand-writing. Dated the fifteenth Day of February in the Year of our Lord 1759
