Settlement Paper for Robert & Thomasyn Lewarne, dated 25 January 1711
 

To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the parish of St Breock in the said County

Cornwall In pursuance of an Act of parliament lately made Intituled an Act for Supplying some defects in the Laws for the reliefe of the poor of this Kingdom Wee the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the parish of St Kew in the sd County whose Hands and Seals are hereunto setton, do hereby certify unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the parish of St Breock aforesd and acknowledge that Robert Lewarne and Thomasyn his wife are inhabitants legally settled within our sd parish of St Kew, And wee doe hereby promise for our Selves and our Successors That wee will ? and take back againe into our sd parish of St Kew, the sd Robert Lewarne and Thomasyn his wife when ever they or either of them shall or may like to become chargable to your sd parish of St Breock, And there provide for them according as the Law in such case directs In Wittness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals this 25th day of January Anno Domini 1711
