Know all men by these Presents that we JAMES HAWKE and
EDWARD HAWKE of the Parish of Saint Breock in the County
of Cornwall am held and firmly bound unto GEORGE BORLASE,
Gentleman, and WILLIAM WEST, Churchwardens, and PETER
WERRY and GEORGE WOOLCOCK Overseers of the Poor of the
said Parish of Saint Breock and County aforesaid (in
trust for the Parishioners of the said Parish) in the
sum of fifty Pounds of good and lawful money of Great
Britain to be paid to the said GEORGE BORLASE, WILLIAM
WEST, PETER WERRY and GEORGE WOOLCOCK, or their certain
Attorney, their Executors Administrators, or Assigns. To
which payment well and truly to be made we bind
ourselves, and each of us, jointly and severally, and
our, and each, and every of our Heirs, Executors and
Administrators, firmly by these Presents, sealed with
our Seals, dated the sixth day of March in the twenty
sixth year of the Reign of our sovereign Lord George the
third by the Grace of God of Great Britain, France and
Ireland, King Defender of the Faith; and so forth; and
in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and
Eighty Seven.
