Stamped: One Penny Sheet Know all men by these presents that I EDWARD JACOB of the Parish of St. Breock in the County of Cornwall Yeo. are held and firmly bound unto JOHN BLAKE & RICHARD BUSCOMBE Church Wardens of the sd. parish and County aforesaid and RICHARD WARN And HENRY WATTS, Overseers of the poor of the said parish Paying Nine pence pr. week & Ten shillings six pence for Lying in to be paid to the said Church Wardens & Overseers of the poor or to either of them or to their certain Attorney their Successors or Assignes or either of them To which payment well and truly to be made I oblidge My Self Firmly by these presents Sealed with my Seal. Dated this Twenty First Day of February in the Twelth year of the Reign of Our Sovereign Lord George the third King of Great Britain &c. and in the year of Our Lord One thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy three. The Condition of this present obligation is such that if the above Bounden EDWARD JACOB Do or Shall from time to time and at all times hereafter well and sufficiently Save Defend Keep Harmless and Indemnity the above Named JOHN BLAKE & RICHARD BUSCOMBE Church Wardens and RICHARD WARN and HENRY WATTS Overseers of the poor of the said Parish of St. Breock and their successors and also all and every other the Parishioners and Inhabitants which now are or hereafter shall be of the sd. parish and Every of them Respectively of and from the finding keeping Educating Instructing bringing up and providing for a Base Child on the Body of GARTRED MAY begotten and of and from all Actions Suits Costs Charges Troubles Expenses Damagies and Demands whatsoever which th(e)y or any of them shall or may happen to insue Sustain or be put unto for or be put unto (repeated) for or in respect of the above said Base Child that then this Obligation to be void & of None affect other ways to Remain in full force power and virtue.
