KNOW all men by these presents that we CHARLES JOB of the Parish of Budock in the County of Cornwall Yeoman & NATHANIEL JOB of the Parish of Mawnan in the County Yeoman are both firmly bound unto THOMAS PEARCE and RICHARD CLIVE Churchwardens of the Parish of St. Breock in the County and WILLIAM CHING and HENRY BLAKE Overseers of the poor of the Parish of St. Breock in the summe of forty Pounds of Lawful money of Great Britain to be Paid to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor or one of them their or one of their certain attorney Exors. Admors. or assignes for which payment welll & faithfully to be made we Bind ourselves & each of us by himself jointly & severally for the whole & in the whole our and each of our Heirs Exers. & Admrs. firmly by these Presents Sealed with our Seals & Dated Twentyeth Day of April in the Ninth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord King George the Third over Great Britain & so forth & in the year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Sixty Nine.

The Condition of this obligation is such that if the above bounden CHARLES JOB & NATHANIEL JOB or either of them their or either of their Heirs Exers. or Admrs. or any or either of them shall & do from Time to Time & at all times hereafter well & sufficiently (?---------) Exonerate and Discharge keep harmless & Indemnifyed as well the above named THOMAS PEARSE RICHARD CLIVE WILLIAM CHING & HENRY BLAKE Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Breock their successors for the time being & every of them of & also all others the Inhabitants & Parishioners of the Parish of St. Breock which now are or hereafter shall be for the time being & every of them of and from all & all manner of Expenses Damages Costs and Charges whatsoever which shall or may in any way in any manner at any time or times hereafter arise happen come grow or be imposed upon them or either or any of them by or by reason or means of the Birth Maintenance Education and Bringing up of such Child or Children as Ruth Jose singlewoman now goeth with and shall be delivered of & which when Born

will be a Bastard or Bastards and whereof ANDREW JOB of the Parish of Budock is sworn to be the father & of & from the charges of lying in the birth for and of such child or children and all actions suits costs charges Troubles Expenses Damages and Demands Whatsoever Touching or Concerning the same then that obligation to be void and of none effect or else to stand and remain in full force and virtue.
