Know all men by these presents that we JOHN LOBB of the Parish of S^t. Breock in the County of Cornwall Yeoman, and WILLIAM POPE of the parish of S^t. Truen in the aforesaid County Yeoman are held and firmly bound unto RICHARD MORISH and THOMAS LOBB Churchwardens and HENRY BLAKE and RICHARD GEACH Overseers of the poor of the Parish of S^t. Breock in the said County In Trust for the Parishioners of the said Parish in the sum of one Hundred pounds of Good and Lawful money of Great Britain to be paid to the said Officers or their Certain Attorney their Executors Administrators or Assigns to which Payment well and truly to be made we bind ourselves and each of us jointy and severally and our and each and every of our Heirs Executors and Administrators firmly by these presents Sealed with our Seals and Dated the 27th of March in the fourtheenth year of the Reign of our Soverign Lord George the third of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and so forth and in the year of our Lord one Thousand seven hundred and seventy four 1774

The Condition of this obligation is such that if the above bounden JOHN LOBB and W^m. POPE or either of them their or either of their Heirs Executors or Administrators do or shall from time to time and at all times hereafter well and sufficiently save defend keep harmless and Indemnify the above named Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of S^t. Breock and their successors for the time being as also all and singular the Other Parishioners and Inhabitants of the said Parish of S^t. Breock which now are or hereafter shall be of the s^d. Parish and every of them Respectively of and from the finding Keeping Educating Instructing Bringing up and Provideing for a Base Child supposing to be begotten on the Body of GRACE HAWKEN of the s^d. Parish and of and from all manner of Costs Taxes Rate Assessments and Charges whatsoever for or by reason of the Birth Educating and Maintanance of the said Child and of and from all actions Suits Troubles and other Charges and demands whatsoever touching or concerning the same that then this present obligation to be void otherwise of force.
