In the name of god Amen this twentieth day of Aprill Anno
Domini 1685 I Richard Richards of the pish of breage in the County
of Cornwall Tinner; being weake & aged in body, but of sound & fit
& well disposed minde & memory praysed be god; Do make ordaine
and declare this present writinge to be my last will & Testament
In manner and forme following
Inprs I bequeath my soule into the hands of allmighty god my maker &
Redeemer and my body unto the Earth from whince itt came
Itm I give unto my Eldest Son Thomas five shillings
Itm I give unto my Sonne Richard Ten shillings
Itm I give unto my Sonne Robert five shillings
Itm I give unto my Daughter Alice five shillings
Itm I give unto my Daughter Cheston ten shillings
Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Rachell James widow
and relict of John James late of the Aforesaid pish of breage deced
all the Remainings parte of my goods and Chattells which I shall
or may happen to dye possest of whether moovable or immoovable
or of what nature kinde or quality soever; to be unto her my Said
Daughter Rachell and her assignes from & immediately after my
Decease; and I do hereby nominate apointe and ordaine her my
said daughter Rachell to be my full and Sole Executrix of this my
last will and testament, who is to pay my Debts and Legacies
And fully to Execute the same, In Wittness whereof I have
hereunto sett my hand and seale uppon the Day & yeare first
abovewritten
